SCLX BBQ Meat and Greet

We're cruising down to Luling for some great BBQ and to visit with our fellow Mopar brethren from San Antonio and Houston.

Meet up at Typhoon Texas parking lot, should be nice and empty, but right off of Toll Road 130 to get a fast start.

8:15 a.m. meet up time, leave no later than 8:45 a.m.

Upon arrival, we'll be parking in a series of lots across the way from City Market and E. Davis St. There's a series of lots, so there should be plenty of parking by the time we show up around 10:15 a.m. or so. We'll park up in the lot that has the space for us all. SCLX and ACLX Mopar groups should be arriving anywhere from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. See images below:

After parking up, your choice to mingle in parking lot, head to any open shops, or head to City Market for food (they open at 10 a.m.).

Once inside City Market, there are two counters.  Counter one is the smokehouse, where you purchase your meats. All drinks and sides are purchased at a second counter, near the front of store.

As you wait in line for food you’ll notice the seating area and think, “where are we going to sit”. By the time you get your food seating will open up. And keep that in mind when you are done so you can move outside to the cars and make room for those behind you. When finished, head outside and hang out or check out some of the stores on the main drag.

There is no firm departure time.  You can expect the first group of people to leave around 2pm.
