Hill Country Horsepower Run

Join Central Texas Mopars for a cruise through the heart of the Hill Country! We’ll roll out from Cabela’s in Buda, TX, carve through the scenic roads near Canyon Lake, open up some horses on Toll Road 130, and finish strong at the legendary Kreuz Market in Lockhart for world-class Texas BBQ.

We'll have a couple of stops along the way for photo ops and/or have people regather and regroup if need be.

Fuel stop will be in New Braunfels at the larger TA station close to I35.

We HIGHLY recommend using our club radios for this one.

Cruise time (approximately): 2 hr. 30 minutes. Ensure you're familiar with our expectations on driving behavior: we're not prudes, but driving fun vehicles automatically puts a huge target on our shoulders.

🕑 Updated Schedule – Hill Country Horsepower Run

8:30 AM – Meet-Up📍 Cabela’s Parking Lot, Buda, TX

• Staging, photos, and pre-cruise mingling.

• Quick driver meeting (route overview, safety reminders).

9:00 AM – Roll Out🚗 Mopars head out toward Canyon Lake Marina

• Scenic drive, relaxed pace with group cohesion.

• Optional stop at Canyon Lake Marina for photos/stretch.

• Gas stop: Bucee's: New Braunfels.

10:45 AM – Head Toward Lockhart

• Backroads to 130 Toll Road (where Mopars can “stretch their legs”, even Jenn).

11:00–11:15 AM – Arrive at Kreuz BBQ📍 Kreuz Market, Lockhart, TX

• Early lunch before the main rush.

• Group parking for photo ops.

• Mopar + BBQ = perfect Texas combo.

1:00 PM – Wrap-Up

• Official event closeout.

• Folks can hang out in Lockhart, cruise home in groups, or grab dessert in town.

Of note: if you are a new member and have not participated in a cruise yet, this is a PERFECT event to run with us.
